How This Site Works
You consign your items and we will list them on this web site. We ask that you put a price on your item, or we will price it for you and interested people will then e-mail us an offer. This is not an on line auction, but an opportunity to offer items for sale You can accept or reject the offer, or if the buyer offers your listed price, the item is considered sold and removed from the site.
Rules for Buyers
When you see an item in our Gumb Auction Bargain Barn that you would like to purchase, e-mail us with your offer. Your offer may be accepted or rejected by the seller. We will let you know within three days if your offer has been accepted. If there is more than one asking price offer on an item, the first offer received will be the purchaser. If you are the lucky buyer, then you will be asked to send a cashiers check in the amount, plus shipping and/or delivery costs and sales tax to Gumb Auction and Realty, Inc., PO Box 24, Burwell, NE 68823. When your payment is received, then your purchase with be sent or delivered. There will be no handling charges for items picked up in Burwell, Nebraska. The offerings are only for the continental United States, and all guarantees are between the buyer and the seller. Gumb Auction and Realty, Inc. acts only as an agent and does not guarantee the condition of the items
Rules for Sellers
E-mail or mail us with a description, picture and asking price of the item you are wanting to consign. We will then put it on the web site and accept offers on your item. We will contact you when we have an offer on your item. You are obligated to finalize the deal when your asking price has been met. You will then bring the item to the Gumb Auction and Realty office in Burwell (if you have not already done so) and we will collect the money, plus sales tax and shipping costs and ship the item for you. Gumb Auction and Realty, Inc. will then pay you for the item minus 15% commission for items under $50 and 10% commission for items over $50. All guarantees are between the buyer and seller. Gumb Auction and Realty, Inc. acts only as an agent. Items only accepted from within the continental United States. We reserve the right to refuse any sale item.
